Once I get through my first season and learn, I do want to participate in this event!

We need another multihull entrant in the Sam Wetherill race May 20. One of three entries had to drop out because of a scheduling issue. If there arentthree on the start line we don’t count the race. Any one?

I sent out an email about this event, but the link to registration did not work.  Just search for the Sam Wetherill and it will take you to registration.

Thanks for posting Alan.  NEMA sailors, ignore the cold weather and get started on boat prep now!

The Essex Yacht Club is running the Wetherill Race on May 20, 2022. First gun at 1100. The race starts off the mouth of the CT River, heading east passing Block Island either side to a buoy off Gay Head and back, south of Block Island, to the finish at the mouth of the CT River. The Notice of Race is posted on Yacht Scoring.

I have entered Friends in the race and hope NEMA will have a good showing. I believe this race is a great way to jump start our racing season.
