WHO WE ARE:   The New England Multihull Association (NEMA) is a non-profit association of multihull sailors and friends who value the art, science and enjoyment of sailing vessels, primarily catamarans and trimarans.  Members include designers, builders, cruisers, racers, from armchair sailors to ocean-crossing mariners. We welcome all who share these interests and support good seamanship and protection of the marine environment.  Our members are located from Maine to New Jersey.  NEMA has no physical clubhouse but we meet at various locations, including Boston, Newport, Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and New York City.  Our racing schedule is busy from May through October and competition for season trophies – which are awarded at our February annual dinner --is friendly but intense.  For information on racing schedules, venues, and ratings, visit our Racing pages.  Cruisers who wish to join other multihullers can make connections through the Cruisers pages.  We are friendly and we enjoy introducing monohull sailors and landlubbers to the joys of sailing fast and flat.  The price of membership is modest and brings access to all NEMA events.  More detailed information about the association can be found in our By-Laws, in our archived newsletters, and by contacting any of the members of the Board of Directors.  Sign up on the Members page.
