Raft‑Up & Floating Potluck Dinner – Kickemuit River | Saturday, May 30

Greetings NEMA Narragansett Sailors (and those from elsewhere who may like to join);

To get this season started right we're planning a social cruising get‑together on the Kickemuit River on Saturday, May 30. Please join.

This will be an easy, fun raft‑up, potluck dinner, and overnight at anchor, focused on spending time together, anticipating a great summer ahead, and enjoying a shared meal afloat.

Event Details

• Location: Kickemuit River
• Date: Saturday–Sunday, May 30–31
• Meet‑up: Early Saturday afternoon, around 3:00 PMish
• Overnight: Anchoring on the river
• Departure: Sunday morning

⚓ Tentative Plan

• Saturday afternoon:
  Arrive, raft up, swim, relax, and enjoy snacks and drinks

• Saturday evening:
  Potluck dinner on the water
  We’ll coordinate who brings what once we have a better sense of participation, so everyone can contribute to our floating feast.

• Sunday:
  Quiet morning at anchor, then head home at your convenience

All plans — including the Saturday rendezvous location — will remain flexible and weather‑dependent, based on conditions and participant preferences.

• This is a NEMA members cruising event
• Informal, social, and participant‑organized
• Each skipper is responsible for their vessel, crew, and navigation
• Final details will be shared with participating boats closer to the date
